This vessel has been designed and built to conform to IACS (International Association of Classification Societies Ltd) and this vessel has been Classed by CCS (China Classification Society since 1956) CSA CSM, Bulk carrier, Aut-0, CSR, BC-A, strengthened for heavy cargoes. Holds Nos 2& 4 may be empty, SCM, ESP, in water survey, BWMP, GRAB X. designed with FIVE cargo holds which have single skin walls with double bottom with top side tanks and bottom side tanks as shown. With unrestricted navigation this is a worldwide traveller carry dry bulk cargo including grain, coal, iron ore, steel coils. Etc.


Powered by a single MAN B& W 6S50MC-1 engine with an output of 12883BHP (9480kW) allowing it to operate at around 14 knots with an amazing 18000 miles nautical range. The vessel has its own unloading facilities with its 36 Tonne x 28m Deck Cranes. The five holds have a deadweight of 54,500 Tonnes in 68,000m3 of storage space. The machinery and the equipment on board this vessel allows the owner to know his ship is sailing the Oceans of this world in safety and comfort. With product having to travel further and further every year this vessel is the right size and with only 30 of a Crew you know that the overheads are going to be controlled as well. The Naval Architect who designed this vessel designed it so that it could be services in almost any port in the world. This vessel has a MAN B & W engine and it has a well proven track record for vessels of this size. The 6S50MC-C engine has 6 cylinders with a bore of 500mm and a stroke of 1910mm, producing some 12833BHP (9480kW). This allows the vessel to operate at 14.6 knots and still have an endurance of 18,000 nautical miles.


CONSUMPTION

The Main Engine will have a fuel consumption of around 30.1 Tonnes / Day at normal service speed.

Realising that is a serious Cargo Vessel and will spend most of its life circumnavigating the Oceans of this world, the Naval Architect arranged for this vessel to be built to China Classification Society, which is part of the I.A.C.S Ltd Group of Classification Societies.


The hull, deck, accommodation, machinery and all apparatus on board this vessel will comply with China Classification Society (CSS) CSA CSM Bulk Carrier, Aut-0, CSR, BC-A, Strengthened for heavy Cargoes, Holds Nos 2 & 4 may be empty, SCM, ESP, in water survey, BWMP, GRAB(X).


FLAG This vessel will fly the flag of China when launched.


The vessel is to be designed as a single screw diesel driven bulk carrier, suitable for normal world wide service carrying dry bulk cargo, including grain, coal, iron ore, steel coils, etc. The vessel is to be designed and built with single continuous deck with forecastle and poop. All accommodation including navigation bridge and propulsion machinery to be located aft. The vessel to be divided by bulkheads, decks, double bottom and platforms into the following spaces and compartments:


AFT BODY

The aft body of the ship with transom stern to be used for the crew accommodation and

bridge, steering gear room, fresh water tank, after peak tank, stern tube cooling water tank, emergency fire pump room and storage room etc.


ENGINE ROOM

The engine room is to be arranged to accommodate the main engine and two tiers of

platform with sufficient area for the auxiliary machinery, engine control room, workshop and storage room, etc. Service, settling and storage tanks for heavy fuel, diesel and lubricating oil are to be provided at suitable places. The double bottom is to contain lubricating oil sump tank, diesel oil tank, bilge tank, slop tank, F.O. overflow tank and other necessary tanks.


CARGO AREA

The cargo area to have five (5) cargo holds. Cargo hold to be constructed as single skin,

double bottom and top side tanks with bottom side tanks as shown. The top side tanks and bottom side tanks at both sides of No.1 to No.5 holds to be used for ballast water tank

The double bottom under cargo holds to have ballast water tanks, fuel oil tanks and one pipe duct. Pipe duct is to be provided between front bulkhead of engine room and aft bulkhead of No.1 hold so that arranging ballast, bilge and fuel oil piping and steam piping and valves etc. No. 3 hold can be used for loading ballast water.


FORE BODY

Fore peak tank used as ballast water tank, void space, chain locker, and bosuns storage

room etc. to be arranged at fore body.
